Granite Cobbles

Granite cobbles are a natural stone cut into shape (cobble style) and are generally used as a border for a driveway, entrance apron or as a courtyard-styled area. Select Paving has completed multiple projects using granite cobbles and can provide you with a custom-tailored quote.

Material Details

The size of granite cobbles can range anywhere from 50mm to 100mm in diameter and anywhere from 20mm to 50mm in thickness. They must be laid individually in concrete and should be joined using a mortar joint.

Since granite cobbles are cut from granite stone, the colour range is nearly identical, with only slight variations in the speckled finish of the stone. However, since they are natural stones, they provide outstanding durability and will never fade or lose colour over time.

They are available as machine-cut, split or with a sawn edge, depending on the type of uniform finish you would like for the area.

Along with granite cobblestones, we offer other bordering options, such as limestone cobbles.

They are also used in water features, such as fountains and ponds, and can be used in conjunction with other paving materials, such as block paving, gravel stone or asphalt paving.
