Material Details

Limestone slabs are created by cutting and shaping limestone rocks into slabs for laying on a mortar bed. The process begins by cutting the limestone into large rectangular blocks and then split into smaller ones.

These blocks are then cut into the desired size and slab shape. The slabs are then laid down in a mortar bed to a specific pattern and grouted with a mortar joint.

Average-sized slabs in Limestone are 600 x 300, 600 x 600 and 600 x 900, with the average depth varying between 20mm and 30mm depending on the particular slab type. We recommend using the mixed packs as they come preset in size.

Limestone is relatively porous, which means it absorbs water and resists stains. This makes it easy to clean and maintain, as you don't need to worry about staining or discolouration.
